April 20, 2008

Today Greyson made his first attempt at "talking" which I'd define as any noise that is not crying. Not sure what it was he was trying to say but it provided about an hour of entertainment tonight.

To keep him entertained Barb read him "The Three Little Jayhawks" by Don Fambrough. It's basically the "Three Little Pigs" but the big bad wolf is replaced by the big bad Missouri Tiger. When Fambrough was KU's football coach he was known for his hatred of all things Mizzou, so this book is rather fitting.

Jake and Greyson catch a quick nap right after feeding time. They both jumped out of their skin after I snapped this picture. :)

Greyson and Abby

We've always heard that Cockers aren't so good with kids, but Abby has been great. She seems to be upset when Greyson cries and when we go for walks she insists on walking right next to the stroller.
Sometimes I'll put Greyson on the bed while I get ready and Abby will snuggle up next to him. Too cute!

One Month Old

I cannot believe my baby boy is already a month old! Everybody keeps warning me how fast it goes. We took Greyson to the doctor for his checkup and he weighed 8 lbs. 11 oz. Also while we were there he decided to roll over not once but twice!! (One month olds are not suppose to roll over :) Anyways, Dr. Klingler was quite impressed!

Champs!

April 4-7 Jake made the trip down to San Antonio to the Final Four. He wasn't in charge of the camera so unfortunately I don't have any pictures to post yet, but here are a couple good youtube video links:

First Weekend at Grandma Patti's

While Daddy was in San Antonio, G and I went to Marysville for our first stay at Grandma and Grandpa's house! Grey spent most of the time hanging with Grandpa, they like to take lots of naps together!! Notice the pic with Grandpa Bob, doesn't seem to matter what position he's in, he is comfortable.
